Barnstaple Personal Trainer Marc Kent is launching the Get North Devon Fit campaign aimed at helping 1,000 local people shed the pounds in just 12 weeks - while raising £10,000 for charity at the same time. Progress will be reported in the North Devon Gazette. There will be a £500 prize for the person with the greatest transformation together with a makeover from Judith Brady, Image Consultant. The competition starts on 1 August and costs just £10 donation - all proceeds to Devon Air Ambulance and Help for Heroes charities.
